Hey there, sorry it has been so long since I have sent out my newsletter. It has been a very long few weeks! I have been in several states lecturing and I just returned home from teaching in Moscow, Russia. I had several things running through my head to share with you but I simply could not find the time to get them out. Well, I am home now and I have no travel plans through the holidays so I am excited to offer some of the things that have been inspiring me lately with you.
The first such thought is a simple idea that I was reminded of while I was super board sitting on the long flight back home across the Atlantic Ocean. The selection of movies was not too appealing to me, as I had already seen them or had no interested on seeing the movies offered. So, I decided to go off to sleep. Unfortunately, sleep eluded me and I was forced to just sit bored and still, absolute torture for me!
So, I decided to watch a movie I didn’t think would ever like, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”. I won’t give the movie away, but I LOVED it! It is a movie about being who you are and what difference that would make in a person’s life. Of course it made me think of my work as a Solution Focused Therapist. Defined simply, I am just trying to help people be who they REALLY are in my work.
Anyway, I saw another video about a guy who found who he really was and pursued it, I was amazed and inspired and I believe you will be too.
