Believe in your power

Hello everyone

People often ask me what my favorite thing is about being a psychotherapist, my answer is always the same. I love that I get to see people accomplish what they once thought was unlikely, even impossible. It honestly blows me away and never gets old. However, I do not understand at all how people do it. In the past I have tried to understand and even attempted to develop a hypothesis or two to explain this phenomena and every time I think I have it nailed I meet a person that does something amazing and blows my ideas out of the water. However, one thing I have learned is to trust it. Though I can not explain why or where it comes from, it is an indisputable truth that people are amazing and capable of the most incredible feats!

So, no matter what you may be going through in your darkest hour, believe in your own power to accomplish and your own ability to overcome. No matter what goal you are working towards, know that it is possible!

Video of the month:
This month’s video almost brought me to tears, it is about an unlikely man who taught himself to fly!

Quote of the month:
“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.”

Have  another great month!
